purple and greens (by Miranda)

Hello there,

Today I will show you a card with the same CI stamp as I shown before but with a different technique, colours and lay-out.
I've used the acrylic bloc method using distress inks, mist spray and perfect pearls. For the two tiny balloons I've used the Creative Petals no.1 from Crealies. On the balloons I used the mini stamps mail art en scripts.
I've stamped the main image from Crafty Individual with Archival black. The text is from the Word of Inspiration sheet. Attached some thin silver threads around this card and layered on purple cardstock.
So, this was another variation with the same stamp, have a nice day,

  1. Super the way you created those little balloons with the baskets - very effective complement to the stamped image. Love the effectiveness of the layering onto purple too.

  4. Miranda, you did a wonderful job on this card! The colors are gorgeous together, and the way you've created the little balloons is genius! Have you ever seen or ridden on one? I've touched one, and "chased" one, and had one land in front of my house in the street, and we celebrated a safe landing with the flyers with champagne! Fun! We lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and there they had the annual Balloon Fiesta. Every fall, there were about 300 hot-air balloons that would meet, and it would be like the county fair! All sorts of shapes, sizes, from Mr. Peanut to Old Mother Hubbard in her shoe with kids sticking out from all the windows! I have photos somewhere! Love your card!

  7. Love this in the green & purple, so cool how you created the air balloons. Funny as I've been playing with that technique (acrylic block & distress inks) this week, it's fun !
