Fifteen Minute Cards- More Time Saving Ideas

Hello everyone, it is time for the second of our monthly fifteen minute cards round up from the Design Team and Guest Design team. The girls have come up trumps again with some super card designs to show you that speedy projects can be both elegant and eye-catching. We hope that you will enjoy the wide variety of styles and techniques covered in the following samples, and that they will encourage you to try out some of the designs for yourselves.

Dominike has made a selection of tree themed cards with colourful backgrounds and inspirational sentiments.

Anne's card has been created using a pretty background paper, and added Punky Flowers. A sentiment and bow complete the card perfectly.
Julie has used a gelli plate to create a simple background shape, stamped the image, and then added pencil colouring to each image on her little notelets.

I made a quick and simple Father's Day card using linen card, and stamped a script stamp and vintage cyclist onto the top layer. Adding the sentiment onto a little tag completes the card.
Two floral cards from Magda are next. The first uses scraps from another project, a Brusho background with a kraft mosaic design:
The second is a delft inspired project in shades of blue and white:
Brenda has created some lovely cards for us this time. To create her first card, she masked a sun and created a soft background with Pan Pastels using the colour that was already on the sponges from the previous use. Using water based markers, she inked one of the stamps from the Butterfly Flourish Swirls stamp set and spritzed it with water before repeat stamping across the bottom of the card. After removing the mask, she stamped a sentiment from the Pretty Poppies stamp set and matted and layered the background onto the base card.

For her second card, started by stamping the image from Let Your Heart Sing with Archival Black Ink and then used Pan Pastels to build up colour on the background using a mask to create the sun.
For her final card, she used a piece of smooth watercolour card for the background. She sprinkled Lemon Brusho onto the top section and spritzed liberally with water, the same in the bottom section using Leaf Green Brusho. Some of you may be a bit unsure about using Brushos, but they create really quick and easy backgrounds. Using Versafine Onyx Black Ink, she stamped an image from the Oriental Crane stamp set and a pussy willow from the Spring Foliage stamp set, and heat embossed them both with clear embossing powder. She coloured the crane with water based markers. For the bullrushes along the bottom, you can use a fabulous stamp from the Owl Edges stamp set.
Finally, we have three super cards from Zoe to close our fabulous group of samples. She has used an image from the Fancy Flowers stamp set on her shaped card:

Zoe has used stamps from the Teeny Weeny Meadow stamp set to create the wreath on this card:
We hope that you have enjoyed our collection of cards that have taken no longer than fifteen minutes to create, and hope that something amongst what we have shown you today will inspire you. You can click on each of our names to reach our individual blogs, where you can find more detailed instructions for the cards.

We will back next month with more quick and easy cards to share with you, but in the meantime, do check out the daily inspiration on the blog from the Design Team. Thanks for stopping by,
